Soooooooooooo, I have something to share with y'all.............
As those of you who know me well will already know ~ dh and I can't have babies. Nope, we had our son and didn't realize at the time he was the miracle that wasn't supposed to be possible. Unfortunately after 8 years of pure "fertlity specialist etc etc etc" hell we have learned that to conceive naturally just is not in the cards for us. *cries*
The good news is this....we just looked at eachother one day cuz we knew what we needed to do....more what we were MEANT to do...why we've been thru this, why this horrible journey has made us so strong. What it has all prepared us for......
It was all to prepare us for this: We have started proceedings to adopt one of (or more as we are willing to take siblings to keep them together) those amazing children from Haiti who have been left without parents or any family.
We are so excited and so frustrated by the process, but you know what? WE have been molded and shaped and prepared for this for the last 8 years... to work our way thru the process as frustrating and grueling as it may be....we are soooooo able to handle this because the reward at the end of the tunnel is sooo worth every single frustration and annoyance along the way!
We've known for a long long long time that we had looooots and looooots of room in our hearts for more kids, we just haven't known for a really long time how that child or those children were going to come to us.
We appreciate t's and p's like crazy and of course if you have any connections, we welcome those too...anything to make this easier (read: faster!!!) for us!!!
So yeah that's what I wanted to share. I also want to encourage all my wonderful girls to order one of these "Blessed Necklaces" as $10 from each sale will go to Haiti disaster relief and as an added bonus they are super cute and inexpensive AND we will all be matching!!! *two thumbs up*
Please remember to keep us in your hearts and to send us lots of good vibes for a smooth process!!
Thanks for listening and for being excited for us. (I know you are cuz really, how could you not be!!! Kids are sooo fabulous!!)
AND my friend said this to me today and I truly love it so much it makes me just smile and smile!!!! (thanks Shanna girl!!!!) "Just think ~ halfway around the world there is a child praying to find you just as hard as you are praying to find them."
Hugs and loves...
